I second ScoWes' motion to share your thoughts/concerns/insights into the Canada–USA game.

My first thought was, "What a shameless display of officiating. Unbelievable calls and non-calls." It's incredibly infuriating. Instant Replay is desperately needed in football, but FIFA's steadfast refusal to give such proposals serious consideration leads me to believe that systemic corruption may have infected literally every organization in the game.

As I thought about it more, I couldn't help but think about some of the situations that you point out in your book. It's such a shame that the outcome of the game wasn't settled by the players.

We don't expect you to make allegations, but would be very grateful to hear the questions that we should be asking, the kinds of hypotheses that make sense, and the things that you found most troubling with the organization of these games.

Would love to hear your comments on the Canada - USA Women's Semi game. Some truly bizzare decisions and applications of FIFA rules, by an inexperienced official.

Please break your silence and call out...

I have not gone to a live sporting event in years for this very reason. I no longer wish to invest any personal roller coaster emotions supporting an event that in all probability has already been infected by this cancer in sport.

Since the Olympics are arguably as much a political event as it is a sporting event, Then my instincts are screaming Why don't the governments get together to pool resources and begin to put an end to this?

Can we not assume that like in many other organized crime scenario's that the buck many times stops at the top? Could this be a valid assumption?

If so, Would this be why we are having such a hard time getting people to actually do something to rid the games of this stain?

I wish I could be Optimistic however I have not seen a government that had dreams for a nation and it's people since Kennedy. People all sit at home a think about how the government is just an ongoing soap opera that is produced by the one percent. For the soul benefit of creating slight of hand theater for the people while the one percent go about their real business. The masses don't know who to trust anymore? So they talk with friends but don't ask the real questions in the media, The one percent owns all the media. Even the news stations have political agenda's now. So what can we really Do Hear?

Like in any good crime story. If you want to know where the corruption is... Follow the money ... Start there.

I love what you are doing Declan! People who are heard are participating in life. People afraid to speak out are only existing.

unfortunately There are far to many fearful frustrated and helpless feeling people out there. Where does it all have to go before they finally have had enough and speak up and be heard.

When was the last time there was a debate on television, a news broadcast, or a talk show interview where the interviewer asked a politician the questions we all wish they would ask?

I would love to help you ask the questions? Can you point me to who's willing to listen?
